JUNE 23-24 2018

Saturday 10.30am-6pm, with an evening jam session 7.30-9.30pm.

Sunday 10.30am-6pm.

Over this weekend we will be looking at two of the forms that we find everywhere in jazz improvisation - The Blues and 'Rhythm Changes'.

All good jazz players know these two progressions inside out - which is to say that we know not only the basic progressions but all the variations that may be used in the course of an improvised jazz conversation. If you'd like to get the sound of these essential changes, sign up now!

The course is for players of any instrument, and will also suit keen singers who are interested in improvisation as well as song. Tunesheets will be provided for advance preparation. Suitable for improver, intermediate and advanced levels.
